Might be a stretch but a screen full of guages would be cool. Perhaps a user can favourite certain PID's and have those show up on a screen.

Don’t think Apple would allow this since Apple is working with car companies to allow integrated digital gages to be changed using CarPlay itself. Ig what the dev can do is make it as a widget instead of a full screen gauge. That’s just my opinion though
Not sure if it’s allowed or not but the BimmerLink app does this for BMW’s

Engine coolant temp, battery voltage if speed is 0 (useful to make sure battery isn’t getting too low to the point of needing a jump lol), gps speed and perhaps estimated range based on driving habits (my car says I got 650km range but that’s 450km if I drive with a lead foot. Will add more as I think of more haha
estimated driving range will be perfect!

Unfortunately the main panel-like CarPlay screen (with map on left and a couple panels on right) isn’t customizable in that way. At best, once I add turn by turn directions to Sidecar, the Sidecar map UI can appear in the map panel. Everything else is governed by iOS.
Great, but are you able to add parameter values in the panels as they are linked with map?

Is it possible to replace Apple Maps/Google Maps on home screen of CarPlay with Sidecar’s map ui? And in that, at the bottom it shows maybe three parameter values chosen by user?
If it is not possible to put vehicle parameters at the bottom of the map then we can use the space above music overlay to show data of vehicle parameters as currently it shows data of Apple/Google map (home address, work address, ETA to home). Is there any possibility?

I dont think it’s possible to replace music overlay as it is defined by Apple
