To support Tesla commands it looks like I need to add a step to the Tesla login flow that gets you to install a virtual key in your car that acknowledges you're ok with Sidecar being able to initiate commands remotely. I need someone with a Tesla account to verify that I'm setting the flow up correctly though. Anyone with a Tesla, if you can visit the following page, follow the instructions, and report the results back here, that would be super helpful!

Appears to have worked for me as shown in the screenshots. However, I haven’t received the promo code so can’t confirm whether the commands are working.

@jasontwright check your mail I believe commands might not work until I spin up an instance of https://github.com/teslamotors/vehicle-command . Going to be looking into that today.

I've just finished setting up the infrastructure required to support remote commands with Teslas. @Model 3 owners @Model S owners @Model Y owners Who is able/interested in testing out a TestFlight build with the new command functionality?
